A group for those of us here who get more from our friendships than from the available discussion groups. A place to be accepted and appreciated for who we are. Somewhere to always feel safe and know that especially on the bad days we are here for each other .A place for encouragement and love.

Montgomery Wards Decent cheaper clothes
J. C. Pennys Reasonable priced clothes in styles I liked.
K Mart The one near me closed down. I went there a lot.
Dime Store. You could get a large variety of goods for low prices.

It's going to get hotter here with Thursday being the hottest. It's noon and 75f feels more like 80 or more.I've been cleaning up the deck in this morning and cleaning the windows outside. Then I cut up a pallet in half, I've decided to call it quits now because I went a bit light headed. Joanne, some drugs we take have an effect on us in the heat, I know a couple of mine do, maybe yours...

I also miss that the Dollar Tree is not just a dollar anymore but $1.25!
That can really set you back. :-)
I loved KMart when we had them here. You could get alot of good stuff at reasonable prices.
A lot of our dollar stores have had to raise their prices a bit here too and some people do seem to shop more carefully. I guess it’s a sign of the times.
I miss Steinbach, Media Play, Bradlee's, Caldor, G. Fox, The Limited, to name a few...
Clover was good too back in the day
There is one outlet mall near here, and still a couple of the smaller boutique stores in our mall. Supply chain though.........
