The Answer I Have Is John F. Kennedy ~ John F. Kennedy is the only American president to win a Pulitzer Prize.

Kennedy was awarded the 1957 Pulitzer Prize in Biography for his book " Profiles in Courage. "

Profiles in Courage is a volume of short biographies describing acts of bravery and integrity by eight United States Senators throughout the Senate's history.

The book profiles senators who defied the opinions of their party and constituents to do what they felt was right and suffered severe criticism and losses in popularity because of their actions.
