Well, in high school I was know as BT for "Boobs and my last name" HATED IT.

For the past 2 decades I have been "baby girl" (yes even at 55)

Ever since I was little my mom has called me both Tootsie Lou and Miss Tizzy Lish. I have no idea why...but she still uses them from time to time.

Im 27, and When i was growing up my mom refered to me as "babbling Brook" ... I should mention.. My name isnt Brook, or any form of such.

My nickname in grade school was "Mouse". Believe it or not but I was very quiet and reserved-LOL!

They called me "Bomber" on the basketball team because I loved to shoot 3 point shots.

In nurses training, back in the dark fifties, we were not allowed to use first names in the hospital! So some part of your sir name became a nicname (by dropping the "Miss") which stuck both on & off duty. Being graduated for fifty-two yrs now, we still hear them now & then!!
Oh............yes, mine was "Wes" ! As this was the name of a very favorite uncle, I loved it!!

A neat side note that I always connect with whole nickname thingamabob, is that the student a year ahead of me who issued my nickname came be-bopping into my room one morning so excited, saying that she had dreamed about me, and that it was the first dream she had ever had both in color and in English! She had been in Canada, from Holland, for 5 or 6 yrs! So this was a major land mark on her journey. I'm never sure if I dream in B & W, or in Col.................how about the rest of you??

Where should I start, I have all sorts of nicknames.........squirt, shorty, short stuff, shrimp, neener, Jeannie, Jeannie Beanie, Beaner, Jeannie Bikini, honey, sweetheart, sweetie, Jean the knowledge machine, mitch, mitchell, sugar, feisty...... that's all I can think of right now. Most of these are still being used I might add. Phew.

Well I got some of them because I am short and tiny. My first name is Jean. Last name is Mitchell. At work I was very knowledgeable on how to do my work correctly. I can be feisty. The rest just happened don't know why.

carolmi, I don't know if I dream in color or black & white, never remember that part. I don't remember ever seeing color.........I felt color...........but not seeing it.....my mind would think... that is pink or that is red.

In school I was given the nickname of "Mac" by some of my friends and it expanded to everyone in school including some teachers. It is a part of my last name.
My parents always called me Suzie Q (partially from my middle name).


Hmmmm, Carol, I don't know if I dream in color or black and white either. Interesting thought. Now I would love to know!

Nee Nee. My baby brother could not say my name. So that is what he called me. No Not even a tiny part of my name sounds like that,
