Okay, I figured 3 feet a day is 4 days=12
But if you take off 2 feet per night that =1 foot per day
So wouldn't it be 12 days? 1 foot per day=12

OR the night, would that be after midnight? So in that case it'd be the next day so..............
That would still be 2 feet taken off per day from the 3 feet per day which =1
And to scale 12 feet that would take 12 days?

With the steady rate of 3 feet per day minis the 2 feet slipping that would be 1 foot per day.
1 foot per day equals 12 days to scale 12 feet.

Hmm...10 days??

I thought about it some more and it would be 10 days. The last day there would be no slipping two fee, no night, so add those two feet.
10 days at one foot. =10
Add the two feet and that makes 12, so the answer is 10 days.

Whew that was a mind tricker alright, took ma awhile to figure that out LOL
