Friends til the end Community Group
A group for those of us here who get more from our friendships than from the available discussion groups. A place to be accepted and appreciated for who we are. Somewhere to always feel safe and know that especially on the bad days we are here for each other .A place for encouragement and love.
Each person is given 5 scraps of paper, where they write down the name of a famous person, real or fictional, dead or alive, known locally or worldwide. All the completed scraps of paper are put in a basket or similar container. The group playing the game is split into two teams.
ROUND ONE
Each team takes turns drawing "names" out of the basket (Abe Lincoln etc.) and has their team guess the answers within a certain time limit (30 seconds? 2 minutes?) Teams alternate taking turns, till all the names are gone. Points are totaled for right answers for each team.
ROUND TWO
Same as above, only each clue giver can only give two word clues. (i.e. February 12)
ROUND THREE
Same as above, only the clue giver cannot say anything and has to act out the clue, similar to charades. I have not done round 3 before but learned this is how the game is played in Chicago.
