Difficult Conversation

I just had a conversation that felt upsetting to me. It felt like nails on a chalkboard. I don't want to hear nails on a chalkboard. 


I know in time my reaction will be less negative and I will respond to this differently. Care less. Even perceive the other's response with more insight, sympathy and even more levelheadedness on my part, but right now it is just NAILS on the chalkboard.

That can be so difficult. Most of my family is nails on a chalkboard. Thank the Lord for my husband’s dear family. I hope you feel better soon. And get some rest tonight.

givelove, I am so sorry you are having a hard time. I just wish that I could read all of your post but as usual there are &^*$ ads on the page. grrrr!
I will say that there has been a lot of chalk board moments lately.

    I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmon

    It's going to get hotter here with Thursday being the hottest. It's noon and 75f feels more like 80 or more.I've been cleaning up the deck in this morning and cleaning the windows outside. Then I cut up a  pallet in half, I've decided to call it quits now because I went a bit light headed. Joanne, some drugs we take have an effect on us in the heat, I know a couple of mine do, maybe yours...
