Friends is considered one of the most popular and influential sitcoms of all time.

The series revolved around the lives of six best friends living in New York City.

The most prominent fixture of Central Perk is the large orange couch that the characters usually sit on.

Initially, the series was going to be called Insomnia Café.

The executives at NBC originally didn’t like the idea of a coffee house and tried to get it changed to a diner.
