For An Address, You Always Turn The Radio Down " ?

Now that is so true........... Could it be the flip side of many ppl believing that when you lose one sense (ie: sight) that other senses like hearing become more acute!
Do we think by not using our hearing, it will make our vision more acute?

I turn my radio off. I think its more a matter of concentration than hearing or vision.
