Well, I guess it would depend on some factors - the size of the raft, how many people are already in the raft and how many are in the water, is the water warm or cold, are their sharks or other predatory animals in the water, how far off is help...et al. I don't think I would want to put the lives of those in the raft in jeopardy unless I could be sure that bringing more people into the raft will not cause the raft to also sink. Sounds cold to say I would consider not helping those in the water but I don't think it would be wise to jump to help them without being certain I am not putting others in harms way by saving the others in the water. I think I would have to weight the factors out first based on the circumstances.
