I worry when I speak at the same time as the other person. I'm always telling myself to be a better listener.When I'm excited about something during a conversation I have to slow down and just listen.

One of my English teachers taught us about causing the converstion to not be pleasant by using "I" too many times. That rule sticks out in my mind.
