I tasted Scallops for the first time out in public and my classmates
couldn't shut me up, I was the typical country bumpkin oohing and
ahing over something I'd never heard of much less tasted before :o).

Rocky Mountain Oysters
Didn't know what I was eating 'till somebody told me. Thought I was getting oysters and that they brought me the wrong dish.

My Mom's stuffing - a pretty simple recipe but I look forward to Thanksgiving because I love it so much. Literally just bread crumbs, white onion, celery, water and chicken broth, and whatever seasoning she also uses on the bird (I don't know what it is to be honest). We make a massive batch (it takes two of us to mix it) and then I feast on leftovers for a week. Yum!!

My grandmother's vegetable soup was killer!
She'd also take the yolks from boiled eggs and mash them up and add butter, a tad of mayo and salt and pepper. Mine never taste as good as I remember hers tasting. Love is a very big ingredient in cooking. I really believe that!
