growing up my moms way of "camping' was the nearest holiday inn(motel).........hehe
but have gone in cabins out in woods w/o plumbing or water or electricity...........wasnt too bad............have been in a tent( not my fav.) but wouldnt mind going out to cabins again or even try a camper or such.........

I'm with scooby's mom - a Holiday Inn is as close to camping as I get too.

Not anymore! In my younger years I did my share of camping in tents and loved it but these bones can't take the abuse it would do to sleep on the ground in a sleeping bag now. We do still like to visit a log cabin B&B in the mountains at least once a year. It is a nice retreat from the busy world.

Yes I do like to rough it. My son and I would spend at least a week or longer in any remote place. Had much fun with camp fires, fishing, hiking, telling stories and watching stars. Oh that initial shower on our return was the best.

Do you participate in any water activities such as ski or sail.

No - I rough it when the dishwasher doesn't work and It's 90 and I'm mowing the front lawn!

I grew up camping every weekend and sleeping in a tent. Loved it! Haven't roughed it in years though.

NO, No, no, not at all. In fact my idea of roughing it is staying at a Holiday Inn, without a swimming pool. LOL but true.
