Facet the future, lock down your own destiny.
Dig deep within yourself and pull out your own little fragments of freedom.
For freedom only comes from within your own soul.
Reach out and extend, with a open heart and hand,
That freedom- that love.
Help others see the errors of their ways.
Their hateful words of vice overtaking their lives.
Without kindness to another soul,
You will come to be whole.
Take the sorrow, take the grief-
Turn it into joy and reprieve.
Keep that arm outstretched.
Keep your heart extended.
True joy comes from selflessness,
Not selfishness.
Not personal gain.
Some pray, in vain, for grand riches and fame.
Be careful what you pray for.
These things may come to you at your own expense.
You'll lose your soul along the way.

Just recently re-watched the movie "What the bleep" talking about the parallel between quantum physics, life, and spirituality. It very much promotes the fact that if you believe in yourself and consciously focus on happiness you well start to make different neural connections in the brain. The more we follow a certain emotion the more it is enforced and entrenched in our minds and thus projected. Interestingly they show a water crystal after a buddhist monk had blessed it focusing on the thought of love and how beautiful and intricately structured it was. The one of someone focusing on hate was ugly and not very uniform in its structure. (These were taken from the same spring)

I believe we make make our own happiness of course others help but ultimately up to ourselves. Very true and elegant thank you for sharing and peace to you :)

Thank you both Tomas and Star! Steve, I believe the same thing, to a certain extent. I believe that a positive attitude and love will bring you much further in life than hate, but hate is an inevitable human emotion that always get the best of us in one way or another.
