Growing up, my holidays were filled with gifts, gifts and more gifts. But the day always ended up in a fight over something. There was never a peaceful Christmas. This year I have a choice. Stay with my crazy mom and sister, or have a relaxing peaceful (hopefully) Christmas in Arizona. I was there for nine days. Just got back on Wednesday. My other volunteered me to cook Thanksgiving dinner. I told my father this and he offered to fly me out. We bought the tickets that night. I had a good time there. Other that my dad drink and being a crabby prick almost the whole time. But he did buy me a gift of a extended battery for my HTC Evo, and a case.
Almost every night I was there, I would curl up in bed with my grandmother until she fell asleep. She bought me a Christmas gift of a really nice outfit!
When I got home from AZ, I was so welcomed and so loved by all of my friends. I felt like a brand new person. I love this time of year because it's nearly impossible to get depressed. So anyway, I went to the store, bought two small boxes of x-mas lights. One for my bookshelf and one for my bedroom dresser. And just last night I bought a small, pre-lite tree. My boyfriend is coming over on Sunday to help me put it up. I want to share my first Christmas in my own apartment with him.
This time of year I will sing at the top of my lungs to every Christmas song I hear. I watch all the good, old movies. Frosty, Rudolph and what ever else is on the T.V.
Every time it snows I have to run outside like a 2 year old and just watch the beautiful little pieces of joy float down from the sky. Max, my boyfriend, had to nearly drag me into the car when we walked out of the mall. I just stood in the snow, it awe of it's beauty.
Well, I'm rambling now, lol. I go back to AZ from the 19th till the 29th. I want to spend New Years with Max and see my family and friends here.
What is everyone's plans for the Holidays!?
