She opened her eyes to the world. She saw that the world is full of lies and hate. But she also opened her heart to the kindness that is hides in the smallest nooks and crannies. She opened her eyes to see that even when the world feels like it is falling apart, the smallest act of kindness can make all the relentless misery seem bearable. But, that is where her bi-polar kicks in.
She opens her eyes some mornings and sees nothing. She feels nothing. She is nothing at all but a dead soul in a lifeless body. Laying hours upon hours in bed, nightmares plaguing the little rest she gets from the world abound. She loses her sight of the acts and unconditional words of kindness. She is a self-loathing, hateful little girl praying for some sort of release. She knows that her emotions are only getting the best of. She wonders for minutes, hours, days, months;
"When will I come around again? When will I once again be able to see and feel joy?"
She is surrounded in darkness waiting for the light to return.
A piece written from the depths of despair and yet the hope I see in the shadows of what you have written is someone awaiting the light to shine upon them. I hope you will find a way to walk into the light and feel its warmth.......
Thank you continue on for your support. I'm still trying to find that light but I hope it will get a bit better every day. Even if I have to fall into the darkness again, I will be able to recover. If I've done it once, I can do it a thousand times.
