Sunday morning, the clock ticks.
Time to praise the Lord.
Get up, dress in your Sunday best.
Put on a pretty face, a happy face.
Time to praise the Lord.
Time to push away all your doubt.
Time to lose yourself in mystical words of the Preacher.
Time to praise the Lord.
But how can one praise when they are so scared?
Isnât fear of faith the most basic sin?
How can I, me, myself praise when I have no clue WHO I am praising to?
Time to praise the Lord.
Finding my faith once again- Wait, no. Not once AGAIN. For the first time.
Finding my faith in the Lord above will take every tiny bit of power within me.
How can I trust such an intangible ideal when I canât even trust myself?
People say, âAlways trust in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.â
Time to praise the Lord.
I shuffle in to the grand building of the Lord. I pray and praise.
The whole time in doubt.
How can I trust in these ideals when I know nothing of them?
Time to praise the Lord. The Lord I must learn of before I could ever really praise.
