Peyton Manning IS one of the greatest QB's to EVER EVER play this game. He's broken many more records than Brady.. and he is an amazing man. He may never have as many Superbowl rings as Pretty boy Brady, but he will ALWAYS be a better man.

I never said Peyton was a bad QB, I just said he was over rated. We have spent every year listening to the announcers sing his praises when this past season he had probably one of the worst seasons ever. Was he injured? Sure. But how does a foot injury affect one's decision making? He made some horrible decisions. Yet people couldn't get out of their way fast enough to glorify him. Sorry, but that doesn't fly in my book. He was on a good team this year, and had a good back up QB to get the Broncos through some rough patches, but during the regular season, he threw more interceptions than touchdowns. I won't give him a pass on that.

As for who he is as a person, I've never met him. He could be a really nice guy, or that could be a PR campaign. I don't know. I just hope he wasn't involved in the HGH scandal and there is of course the 1994 sexual harassment scandal (court docs just released - http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2016/02/13/release-of-13-year-old-court-document-dusts-off-peyton-manning-incident-at-tennessee/). A lot of people think that the plaintiff was threatened and/or bought off in the case. But this is all conjecture and I want to stick with facts.

Stats is a great way to track the progress of any pro athlete, and yes, Peyton has a lot of regular season records. But where Peyton has always been weak was playoffs and the Superbowl. In sports, only one stat matters - wins. Brady has been to SIX Superbowls and won FOUR of them being the MVP 3 times. The two Brady lost were lost by freak incidents. Manning has been to four and only won two. I'm sorry, but I just don't see the comparison between Manning who seems to choke when it matters, and Brady who seems to excel under pressure.

I'm just keeping this friendly, but it is just a personal opinion. Should Manning be in the Hall of Fame? There is no doubt in my mind what so ever. Should everyone be singing his praises? That is up for debate ;)

I WILL tell you though that when my son Chase was 5 years old and loved Peyton Manning..He sent him 2 pictures of himself in his Colts jersey #18 and a letter .. how he was his favorite player.

Peyton sent the pictures back .. signed .. ' Chase, my biggest fan'. I have em framed.. Chase also has a autographed football from Peyton.. it's probably worth a few bucks now.

Y'all don't have to like him.. I could care less. but don't compare him to Tom Brady....

Great arguments and stats and Super Bowls rings are huge in attempting to decipher who in fact is the greatest QB. It just feels to me if I could think of those who have had the greatest impact on the game throughout the last 50 years or so I would go with,
