Hi y'all. 


This is a hard post for me to write. It's with a range of emotions from sadness to profound gratitude that I am letting everyone know that I am discontinuing the group. I started this group over a decade ago and I've loved having a place for us "football lovers" to gather to compete for the Fake Lombardi trophy and to grow friendships along the way. The common thread of loving "Our Teams" is something I truly have cherished and will always be grateful for the wonderful members here who made the group so much fun.


It goes without saying that I owe tremendous thanks to my Wingman Attester and my Sidekick Lukie for doing all of the work to keep the group running smoothly. (Also huge thanks to all of those who have stepped in to help in their absence at times) I have spoken with them both at length about this difficult decision and although they both love the group as much as I do, I sincerely appreciate their support of my decision.


In closing, if anyone is interested in taking over the group, I will gladly contact DS and see if it's possible. I'm truly sorry for letting anyone down, but please know I love and appreciate you all. Good luck to your teams, God bless you all and ofcourse Titan Up!

LMT, I was only here last year and thoroughly enjoyed it. I also know things change in life, so you closing the group is just one of those changes needed for you. And that is okay. I will miss this fun bunch for the little time I’ve known you all. But I understand that these things happen.
Thanks LMT, attester, and Lukie, for all you did for the group. I was treated with kindness as a newbie.

LMT, it was a nice ride, and as everything in life it must at some time end. We have the memories of the years past and they are all good to me, as we continue on our road of life, I wish you all Happiness, good health, and hopefully a Super Bowl team... God bless, Ron

Sadly I have had serious heath issues over the last year. I had another congested heart failure a couple of weeks ago and I am scheduled for hernia surgery on Oct 17th. I informed LMT I would not be able to post games this year and likely will not be making picks either. I am sorry this group has come to an end, but I will say what LMT said -- I hope someone is willng to step up and take over the group. This will be probably my last posting on DS. I will be deleting my acct now.

Best of luck in the upcoming Football year to each person's team and be sure to pick wisely and win.

I am so sorry to read all this but completely understand. Thank you to LMT, Lukie, and Attester for everything you have done these past years. I will miss everyone but understand that life happens. Best of luck to everybody.

Thank you all for so many good times here. This group brought people together from all walks of life. It had us all screaming at our TVs because our picks just didn't do what they were supposed to do. There was exhilaration when we picked right. Lukie I'm sure many prayers will be going up for you, I know I'll be praying. Thank you so much for giving us info so we could make good picks. Attester thanks for tallying all those games for us. You made sure things always ran smoothly and you also like the Marshall Tucker Band, so there's that too! LMT, I'll keep you in my prayers too. I know you've had a difficult time with your surgery. You made us all Titans fans. Thank you for founding this wonderful group.

LMT, so sorry to hear you're ending the group, though I do understand how much work goes into running a group on DS so I get it. Thanks for all you, Attester, and Lukie have done to keep it running - it's been fun!

Gaye, I would be interested in taking over the group. I hope I can only do this, and not disappoint you It will be tough to replace you. I only hope to do it and not disappoint you. In your honor the 'Fake Lombardi Trophy' will become the 'Fake LoveMyTitans Trophy.'. Anyone interested in continuing, please send me a message.

I'm sorry for giving everyone a false sense of hope.I just emailed Gaye, 'I did some more thinking, maybe I would do better in a supporting roll. Right now my symptoms are manageable, but never know they could get worse. I currently lost the use of my right arm and both my legs. Knows if and when and if I'll lose the use of the right arm. I would hate to take it over and have to abruptly have to quit.' I hope someone comes and takes it over. I will be happy to assist whoever does.

Thank you all for a wonderful decade striving for pride to win the Fake Lombardi Trophy. Kiddos and ya all, and my team is the worst, and MTB and did you count my bonus pick etc were always so much fun. Love you all my friends and wish you fun enjoying watching your teams this season. Love you all and thanks for making it so very special for me.

    Hiya My internet is changing today and I'm not sure how long the switch over will take, I'm hoping 24 hours at the most, but I'm probably being too optimistic We are changing to another company and going full fibre for the internet. But at least it's changing to the one payment rather than the payment for the home landline phone and a payment for the internet. So I'm not going to be on here...
