Question about chicken I bought

My husband picked it up.  It was a small package of thighs.  I went to repackage it and


found the chicken partially frozen.  No smell of fresh chicken.  No smell at all.  I have


never bought a package of chicken like that.  Is it ok to eat?  Why was it partly frozen?


It was in the refrigerated section of the store I always get chicken from.

Chicken is kept frozen before it’s put out on the sales floor.

it is safe to eat.....keeping chicken frozen is safest way to transport it to the market....

Now it often comes in prepackaged. I believe it is treated in a special solution to prevent spoilage or salmonella...

I got a pack 2 days ago and was the same way. I always separate and freeze and never had a problem.
