This is a group for folks to share recipes, tell stories about their triumphs or even disasters in the kitchen.
I always loved to bake and have done quite an assortment for years . I do usually wind up doing most of them every year as there are certain ones who look forward to their favorites. I have an endless list below.
chocolate chip peanut butter thumbprints nut tassies candy canes snickerdoodles sour cream cut-outs
gingerbread fudge (peanut butter, chocolate too) and pumpkin cake rolls
I have friends who do just a few favorites for their families as well. Just curious what some of your favorites may be?

I don’t make cookies anymore. Used to when I was married. Old Fashion Sour Cream Cut Outs sound good right now.

I make cookies for my AA family. They say "Oh, these are great." They don't get it. As a social phobic, this is how I talk to you. This is how I tell you I love you.

I do believe you are right. It is a statement to take the time and effort to do that for those you do care about.. The thing is we know. I don't have tons of money to shower people with gifts, but for me this is my way to reach out and do for many who do look forward to the homemade goodies each year. My gift to them. Makes me and them feel better. That's what it is all about.

I make fabulous sugar cookies and I like to put M& M's in them. I also make great pumpkin pie! I usually make the sugar cookies for Christmas and the pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving. I can bake anything I want to bake but I usually just bake these 2 sometimes I also bake brownies.
