I'm only 1 month pregnant and my journey has just started. Fortunately I don't have morning sickness but sometimes I have pain at my right ovary, like when I have my period, I read in a website it's normal but I'd like to know if somebody has or had this type of pain. I'm really excited but at the same time very negative, I know I shouldn't but it's difficult!I'm so happy!!
You may want to get that checked out, just to rule out that its not a eutopic, ectopic, or tubal pregnancy. It could also be a cyst flaring up.
I was still getting periods up until the end of the first trimester- cramps, heavy bleeding, etc. Its possible that your body is trying to adjust to all of the changes going on inside. But really, only a professional can tell.
I just went thought the exact same thing at 6 weeks. I was freaked out! I went to the hospital to get it checked out (I was worried it might be a tubal pregnancy b/c the pain was on only one side). Turns out, everything was fine. The doctor told me my uterus is naturally shifting and it will cause some cramping. That said, if you are worried, go to your doctor or hospital for an ultra sound. Nothing beats peace of mind. Once I figured out everything was okay, the cramps did not seem as bad and went away the next day.
This can definitely be normal. There is a cyst that develops on the ovary that releases the egg that can cause twinges of pain similar to when you ovulate. I went through the same thing and have a happy, healthy 2 1/2 month old little boy!
I went through the sane thing... if its any consolation i think its pretty normal (i only had pain on my left side) and if it were a tubal pregnancy, you dont usually get pain till about 8 weeks (when the baby starts to outgrow the tube)... if you are still worried get it checked out!!
