Hello! I wanted to post in here because I am a "first time mommy" and am dealing with a lot of frustrations due to the lack of sleep. How have any of you other first time mommies dealt with the lack of sleep and the frustrations that come with that? Also does anyone else have an infant that cries up to 4 hours without stopping? If so, how do you handle that? My son isn't colicky or anything because it happens at different times of day. Like last night it was 3 am till about 7 am. Trust me, my house is exhausted today because of it. Plus he has gotten a clean bill of health from his pediatricians office.

Hi there! I can't tell if this is an old post, I'm new to this website. But I wanted to say that I am dealing with similar frustrations. My baby is 5 weeks and refuses to nap during the day. This just started within the last 4 days and he will not let me put him down. I'm not sure if it's a phase or what. I am lucky in that he actually sleeps okay at night and wakes every three hours. But during the day I am glued to the couch or basically unable to do anything because he is glued to me! I'm sorry you're going through that. I hope it's just a phase for yours too!

I am a first time mom too. I have the same problem with sleep. I feel like a bad mom because I am around my baby so much, I sometimes hate it when she cries. She cries every 30 mins to an hour a day or night anymore. I am looking forward to going back to work soon. Because it means I get time to myself. And I feel like a bad mom. My boyfriend/her father tells me I was never ready to be a mom. And that makes me feel even worse. I love my daughter so much but I am so tired and emotional. I hate it. Does anyone else feel this way?
