i am a mother and grandmother, homemaker, taxi driver, maid, comforter, friend and so much more. i love what i do but is this all there is. am i being everything God want me to be? am i supoose to be doing more? God is and alway has been my daddy and showed me great love. all i want is to please him and do his will but i get so caught up in the messes of life i dont know what to do. where do i find these answers?

Please, when you find the answers to these questions let me know. I have been praying for the answers to the very same questions; I feel like there is something else i should be doing, i pray that God puts me where He wants and needs me, but i still feel like something is missing. I used to wonder what my purpose in life was...and then I realized that God had already shown me. I work in a high school with a broad range of special education students. I adore these young people. There is something so innocent and spectacular about each of them. I work with students with downs syndrome, autism, and physical handicaps. Sometimes I wonder, like in my case, if we are already fulfilling our purpose.

I'm not saying that God doesn't have more in store for my life...but I do believe that this is one of the purposes that He has blessed me with.

It is a gift from God to be a mother,grandmoter, teacher, nurse, what ever our roll in life is, do not look for what God wants you to do, look at what He as given you to do now. If we accept that God is teaching us in our rolls, ie, patience, love, kindness, obediance etc it is helping us to grow in Faith and when we reach where God wants us to be then He will move us on WHEN HE FEELS WE ARE READY.
I learnt this lesson and believe me God will speak when the time is right for each of us to move on to where HE would have us be.
Look at it all as stepping stones on the pathway to where God is taking us xx
