On facebook this morning, I saw a post about another failed marriage. I was sadden to hear, but also wondered, hum??? I'd just like to say, it is not if trouble comes it's when. In my quest to learn as much as I could about my own failed marriage, I found this book "Building Hedges.". It might help. I also recommend watching a movie called, " The War Room."
I attended Divorce Care last night. It is for everyone. I feel better today. They made us aware that irreconcilable differences is not a grounds for divorce, But, God is forgiving.
My heart Is sadden today because this is the United States and we are not allowed to pray in public. This country was founded by our forefathers because they were in search of freedom of religion. Again, I am saddened. With my divorce, I could have not made it without my faith.
Bees, glad you liked DC it really shouldn't be too
Religious based. We had one group that was and
It was not very helpful or healthy. It felt more like
religious vs non religious mentality.
Its suppose to be for all not just for some that Practice
the same beliefs and ideas in religion. I knew the two
facilitators just Not them together as a team. I was very
put off, with their lack of Humility and it was not good
for me or my healing, HUGS
Mirandac, The first one that I attended was not sencere, they talked about things that I didn't care to hear, but this one is better. I liked to hear God's name and feel that caring, but I don't like that hard tact. It is better, right at first they explain that it was for everyone.
DC is about learning about grieving and letting
Go with forgiveness. But with that comes Lots
more to move thru so you can get emotionally
Healthy as possible during divorce.
It is a great program for one and all, no one is
Better than or more special than because of
their own religiousness. Thats what churches
Are For if you are into that kind of stuff. HUGS
