Feeling Alone Community Group
A place where when you feel alone, you can retreat and perhaps find someone else who is feeling those same feelings, finding solitude and compassion.
The subject pretty much says it all.
My freshman daughter is so involved with school and drums in the band that I never see her. She is gone by 7:30am and often isn't home before 10pm...Saturdays are band invitationals and she is gone by 5am and isn't usually home before midnight since they travel. Sunday she catches up on sleep, homework and room cleaning.
My husband works a backward rotating swing shift. One week 3d shift, the next 2nd shift then first shift...7 days a week.
I'm a bit agoraphobic, but it wouldn't matter, my sister totaled my car almost 2 years ago. Can't afford to get another one right now.
My beloved companion, and best friend...a Saint Bernard named Bosley died 5 months ago. I'm still grieving. I'm alone, I'm lonely and I feel a little scared, don't really know why.

I'm thinking of moving out of state. As long as they get my money, they seem to be happy.
But ALONE and LONELY are different. I seem to be always Alone, but Rarely Lonely. When I feel that way I realize that if someone else were with me, I'd want to be Alone. Don't need to entertain anyone, hear criticism, or complain about Anything At All. Like, how long I spend ONLINE chatting with you peoples ;)
With DS here, you're only Physically Alone... that's why I don't feel Lonely
There's more than DS out there, too. So find some communities or groups that interest you and you can get lost in cyberspace ;)
I am very proud of my daughter, but I miss her. We use to talk for hours sometimes, but since high school and band started I never see her, and I miss that. We raised her to be independent and to think for herself and she is those things, I just miss hearing what is going on in her life.
Yes my husband works and is responsible, but I do have responsibilities as well. They just are not outside the home.
Geocacher....I'm sorry about the DV..I couldn't imagine having to go through that...I'm also sorry you don't get to see your son often..I can relate. But before you up and move out of state, give it a lot of thought...then you will not only be apart from him emotionally (he'll come around) but you'll be separated from him in distance.
