You are missing out! Why should a guy have the deciding vote in whether or not you are valued. I've a little secret for you. The world is literally made up of absolutely average people who aren't all that smart, creative or anything like that. There are millions of us, all over the place. If you're one, Great! You're in good company. Lots of those guys who you look to validate you're existence are probably fairly average as well.

Do you think all those Grade A pieces of beef getting inspected in the US today are all worried about if they're going to be lucky and worthy enough for that FDA inspector to stamp their rump with his seal of approval? Of freaking course not. AND NEITHER SHOULD YOU!

You don't need anyone's approval, cause you've got your own. All those other people will come and go, but you're gonna be there until the end. Go, enjoy whatever makes you happy and forget about what anyone thinks of you. You totally rock and deep down inside, I think you know that. I'm sure there's a little voice inside your head that tells you this off and on. Pull that little voice up and make friends with her.

Thank you, what you say is totally logical and I sure wish it were that easy for me. I’m trying to heel my insides by therapy, meditating, yoga, self help books, eating healthy. As my looks fade I want to be strong enough to like and accept myself. As I am.

You are perfect just the way you are, no matter your age or how you look.

I'm not religious at all, but I believe each and every soul is unique and special. You think people have always found you acceptable because of your looks. Has it ever occurred to you that a good many of them might have been attracted to your personality and sens of humor? Just because you thought your appearance was your best feature and some no doubt reinforced that, do not mean all or most appreciated your looks above your personality.

Just saying, it might be a matter or perspective.

The opinion of men on your appearance are not worth your while .You are Wonderfully made & it is what is in yo ur heart that matters .
We should be content with growing older gracefully .

After many years of therapy, I know why I feel this way, being molested by several men as a child one who was my adopted dad, while the mom who was supposed to protect me turned the other cheek and ignored me and never gave me the time of day. I have trust issues from both sides, but at least men pay attention....My goal is to be like you ladies, who seem so confident in your skin.

I too worry about my looks going away. I have to stop that though. Me being so worried about being and looking a certain way takes up so much of my time and energy that I forgot that my personality is what truly attracts the good ones.
Theres a dominoes effect.

We are ALL going to get wrinkly and should try not to focus on it .It is inevitable.
