10-13 Isaiah urges Ahas to ask for a sign. God announces that he has chosen a sign addressed to the house of David, and would have profound implications for future generations.
14: For therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign: behold a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son and call his name Immanuel.

Chapter 5 :
God’s people were a vineyard that He expected to produce sweet grapes, but they grew bitter. He expected justice and righteousness from them, but instead He found oppression and violence. So God would send them into exile to bring them down, but God will be exalted. There would be sorrow for those that say evil is good, and good is evil.
Chapter 6:
Isaiah saw a vision of God sitting on the throne. In that vision Isaiah said he had filthy lips and lived among people with filthy lips. So a Seraphim took a coal and touched his lips which cleansed him. God asked who He could send to the people, and Isaiah wanted to be the one. The people’s hearts were hardened and their ears were plugged, and only a 10th of the remnant would remain. They would be a stump of holy seed.
Chapter 7:
This was a message for Ahaz. News came to Ahaz that the kings of Syria and Israel were going to attack him. God told Isaiah to take his son with him and tell king Ahaz to stop worrying, because the invasion would never happen. God told Ahaz to ask for a sign of confirmation, but he wouldn’t. But God prophesied a sign anyway, and the sign was that a virgin would conceive and give birth to a son, and His name would be Immanuel. The rest of the chapter talks about God using Assyria as a razor to shave the lands and crops.
Chapter 8:
God told Isaiah what to name his son before he was even conceived. Verse 18 says, that the names of Isaiah’s children would serve as warning to Israel from the LORD. They were to look to God for their instructions and teachings. In verse 11-14 God says not to think like everyone else does, and call everything a conspiracy. He said not to live in dread of what frightens them, God is the only one they should fear, and He will keep them safe.
For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end, Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice From that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this. For the leaders of this people cause them to err, And those who are led by them are destroyed.

Chapter 9:
The time of darkness and despair will not go on forever. There will be a time when Galilee will be filled with joy. God will enlarge the nation of Israel and the people will rejoice, the yoke of slavery will be over. I think the key verses of the chapter are 6-8 that talk about Jesus being born and setting up his government, and that He will rule it with fairness and justice. He will be called Wonderful, Counselor, etc. (Some believe He set up His Spiritual Kingdom at His first coming and then He will set up His physical Kingdom at His second coming.)
Chapter 10:
Sorrow now awaits the unjust judges who issue unfair laws. When God sends disaster on them from distant lands, who will they turn to for help? God is sending Assyria against a godless nation, and the king will be His tool, but He will then turn against the king and punish him for being arrogant. The remnant will no longer depend on allies who seek to destroy them, they will faithfully trust the LORD, and return to Him. God will end their bondage, and break the yoke of slavery. He will chop down the mighty tree of Assyria.
