I have really bad pain witihin my bowl and my bladder when they make movement and also throughout the day. I am just wounder could it be that endometriosis has spread to this area or the scar tissue from last surgery has attached to them?
I've had exactly the same thing-- not to be disgusting here, but I've been having tons of trouble with bowel movements. It's what drove me to the hospital in the first place, I was SO backed up that I couldn't take it. My gyno told me after doing the exploratory laparoscopy that he found that endo HAD spread to my bowels and was starting on my bladder.
In other words, you're not hallucinating-- it's definitely a thing. If it helps to know, I've been alleviating it with Miralax (it's a really gentle laxative, it takes a day or so to get into your system and doesn't cause stomach cramping or anything close to what magnesium citrate would do to you) and stool softeners. It seems to help a lot by keeping things soft enough to move without causing me pain.
I hope this is useful for you, and hope it gets resolved for you--that feeling sucks, I'm there with you.
Thank you for your advice and kind thoughts. I have the feeling that it has spread, im due to get a 2nd operation to remove any of the endo that has grew back and to identifie any other problems. Fingers crossed i can get all sorted before xmas as fed up suffering as you know the pain etc that you go through is not nice.
Endo can even travel to joints, lungs, cause sciatic nerve issues and may affect your brain. I've battle with painful bowels and bladder... it's unfortunate how doctors don't know what to do besides write a script for us. I can only hope things will get better. Hope all is well!
