After almost 4 years in pain and no answers, my Dr decided to do a Lap on me in Oct 2010.. They said that the surgery went great but my Endo was to bad to remove it all, and called it "Chronic." After surgery they sent me on my way home. Within 4 hours, I had bad chest pain, stomach pain and couldn't breath. My husband at the time called 911 and I was rushed to the ER. After waiting 7 hours in the ER, and them telling me that they couldn't find anything wrong, I was signing my release forms when the Dr ran in stating that I had to be transported to another hospital b/c test results showed I had internal bleeding. Needless to say I had emergency surgery at 6am that morning, ended up hospitalized for 7 days and had 17 staples in my stomach. After all that, the pain never went away. It eased a little but not enough. So I went to a new Dr, who decided to put me on a medication called "Lupron Depot" which was going to put me through Menopause, and supposed to stop the pain. Yet again, after 1 full year on this, it failed. I gave up hope and decided to live and learn to deal with the pain that was my life. NOW, almost 4 years after the 1st surgery, I went to yet another new Dr, and she wants to do another Lap. Its scheduled for June 16th. Needless to say, I am so scared out of my mind and worried. I've never joined a support group but I was told by a friend that maybe if I did join one, somehow my stress and fears could be helped. I'm not so sure as I myself have bad anxiety anyways. Any advise or just someone to talk to would be greatly appreciated.
