Has anyone ever been the victim of an EA where your children and the OW's children were friends? Did you make the kids stop hanging out with each other as well? Our kids are not aold enough to have play dates without a parent being there, so even if it were a drop off/pick up thing, we would still have to interact. I hate the fact that my daughter asks for her friends to come over and I just have to tell her no or try to change the subject. I don't want her to lose a friend (s), but I REALLY not ready to see or talk to the OW!

This is a really hard one. If I'm going to be completely honest, there is no way I would let my kids anywhere near the other woman!! It's horrible that children are unfortunately affected by it but remember it is not your doing. You didn't ask your husband to have an EA with your children's friend's mom!! You have suffered enough!! Seeing her can/will be a trigger for a while to come. You need to heal. I'm sure your children have other friends in the meantime. Take care of you. My husband's EA was 16 years ago and there are still triggers to this day. It never goes away. Sorry.
