Hi everyone,

Im new here and looking for anyone to talk to. I went to treatment over 10 years ago for my anorexia and have relapsed quite a bit. Anyone else struggle daily just to eat? I’m depressed because i’m losing weight but depressed when i feel full. Any advice helps. :(

I’m new on here too. I have been in inpatient treatment for anorexia in 1993. I have been hospitalized several other times for depression also. I have relapsed several times also. I relapsed about a year ago and am still struggling. Like you I am depressed when I do eat and when I don’t eat. I also have had a lot of trauma in my life that keeps me relapsing. I have been trying to get into an inpatient treatment but no one accepts my insurance. So I am trying to apply for a scholarship to go to inpatient. Anorexia is a horrible disease but we need to fight to beat it.

Thanks for sharing. How are you doing? I’m still about the same. I can’t afford treatment again. My job keeps me very busy and that doesn’t help my ED. I’m in a rut . I think i need tests done to see why it hurts to eat all the time. So frustrated.
Inviting any advice or help please!
