Freedom To Express is now listed as a core EOCIL systems advocacy service (http://www.eocil.org/services.html#advo).  This project has been in development for over 15 years.  LGBTQ+ programs would sprout up in eastern Oregon and EOCIL would put their plans on hold.  These programs came and went!  This past year, EOCIL applied for a grant from the PRIDE Foundation that would enable EOCIL to establish a stable LGBTQ+ support program in eastern Oregon.  Sadly, that grant was not funded.  EOCIL's program manager Jeff Williams completed the development of Freedom to Express and EOCIL decided to move forward and support the program through private donations.  We hope Freedom to Express will provide the supports and resources (http://www.eocil.org/resource.html#so) our eastern Oregon LGBTQ+ community need to remain and live without fear in their communities.
