These questions are brought up by a depressive brain. It likes to lie to you, telling you that you are worthless, etc., so don't give in to it.
Keeping busy and adding short-term goals can keep you occupied. I mean, really short-term. Even like making a damn sandwich. Then, when you are able to trudge through that, and you have a sandwich, celebrate it. Yes. You did something. It took motivation just to make a stupid sandwich, you know it's true, so pat yourself on the back. This will honestly, if you are consistent, help build you back up. See, you can do stuff. And you probably can do more.
Hang in there. it's not forever.
I do know how you feel by your wording
that, and their shadow-like intensity are emotions I deal with too, so many disappoints with oneself, it would be better not to even contemplate something co m p le t e l y.

If you step away from your shadow for a second, dismiss whatever darkness is hovering around long lost spirit, believe that you do have the mindfulness to choose a coarse of action. Truly, A purposeful mindset,
