We love DWTS (Dancing With the Stars! on TV. We wait for it to start, we plan our lives around watching the show, we gather afterwards to debrief. This is a fun place to share our opinions and dish on the shows, gather regularly and drool over good looking boys....
OK, we are under way! So my predictions:
The first set to get eliminated: Chris Kattan, Mr. T, Charo, David Ross. Now I like Mr. T and David Ross (baseball player), but they were awkward at best. Charo reminds me of that high school cheer leader who refused to grow up, and Chris can't be gone soon enough for me.
The set that will make it mid way: Nick Viall (the bachelor), Erika Jayne (reality star) and Banner Bolton (bull rider).
The group that has the potential to go all the way, or at least to the finals. (Yup, my top 5 choices to make the top 3 slots!) Heather Morris, Nancy Kerrigan, Normani Kordei, Rashad Jennings and SImone Biles.
Chris Katton was annoying, but he was funny to watch on his promo. I hope that he got his "bad dancer parody" out of his system, because we tune into this show to watch people work hard to dance well.
Mr. T has long been a favorite of mine, not sure why. Guess I don't want to be a fool that he has pity for! He is sort of the original Haggrid, the huge man that is really all soft inside and has a heart of gold.
Charo is annoying. She has the figure that male drunken college freshmen dream about, but it is like she stopped maturing at age 16.
Banner is an interesting person, and I look forward to getting to know him. And he and Sharna seem tohave some chemistry going, but she did have to move his hand at one point on the show, so that chemistry thing may just be hype for the show. But still, he is going to be fun to watch.
Erika Jayne, the reality star, really rubs me the wrong way. I like her confidence, but her attitude is annoying. She is like the mom of college age kids who still thinks she is a college age kid.
Nick Viall is from the bachelor show. That show offends me, and I guess that I let that influence my opinion of him. ANd why did he give that rose to Bruno???
Normani. What can I say? HOT! I loved her dance moves, and she really seems to have a great attitude. I so hope she goes the distance, really want to see her in the finals!
David Ross surprised me. I still pick him to bow out early, but he clearly impressed the judges. And as a person I like what I saw, he would be a kick in the rear to talk to IRL!
Heather Morris really impressed me. I know the judges see stuff that I don't, but none the less I like her and hope she goes far!
Nancy Kerrigan, wow, another skater! She seems a bit overwhelmed by the show, but that may just be nerves. I like her poise, and look forward to getting to know her on the show.
Rashad Jennigs. Why do football players make such good dancers????? Not sure if it is an act, but I really like his personality. He will be another star who is really fun to watch.
Simone, gymnast, great body control, young, fun to watch, full of life, full of energy. Yes, she really should be there in the finals!

I'm still getting to know the players. I like Charo. yes annoying but latin and this is latin dance. I like Mr. T also, big teddy bear. The SNL guy I found very annoying.
Loved seeing Nancy Kerrigan. That awful incident that happened to her when she was competing has probably haunted her and stayed with her.
I can't stand the Bachelor. Why oh why would you do this show when you are in your "just engaged" stage of your life? I guess you want to be a reality star more than you want a relationship.
Lot's of time to size up the players this season. Looks like they have some folks with a lot of potential.
I thought Val and Nomani were very cute together and could go far.
Nancy and Artem brought tears to my eyes... But then that song always brings tears to my eyes.
I LOVED her dress! I agree she looked a little anxious, but she pretty much always does!
Chris and Whitney. POOR Whitney! What a mess that guy is. I don't even think he is funny. I agree he should go first but he might have a fan base.
Bonner and Sharna! Hotsy totsy! I think the chemistry is real. About his hand wandering.... Pretty weird... but I am thinking maybe he meant to rest his hand on her thigh and missed his mark.
Keo and Charo! I love her! So what if she never grew up? Growing up is over rated. She looks exactly the same as she did 20 years ago!
I thought Heather and Maks were very pretty together.
Gleb and Erica?? I was not feeling it.
Rashad and Emma! WOW! That man has the MOVES!!!!!
david and Lindsay.... Better than I thought he would be but still kinda sad.
Mr T and Kym..... I LOVE Mr T, but I don't see him going too far. He did have a few good moves in him though.
Simone is ADORABLE! She and Sasha could take this!
Mr. T and Charo complete my list of the first 3 that will be eliminated. But I'm almost never totally right on the first 3 to leave, so we shall see!
