I'm 19, female, 5'6, 250 lbs.
My goal weight is 150-130.
I'm hoping to achieve this the natural way without any supplements or anything. But I'd like to get into the 100's before next June when I plan to be married. :)
By "next June" do you mean "June 2013?" or June just a few months away? (Sorry I don't understand things well--I may be autistic/aspergers.)
Good luck on your goals! Any weight you manage to take off by June should be great! I hear 1 to 2 lbs a week is a reasonable amount.
I realize now that I didn't actually say what my ultimate weight goal is: 145-155 lbs. Now I am 203 lbs. with my shoes on.
I wish you good luck on your goals as well! :)
Thanks for clarifying the June thing. :) Yeah, you should be able to lose 50 lbs in a year. I understand it is even easier to lose weight when you have more to lose... And when you are younger.... But, yes, I identify with you, too, because our height is the same.
My main goal right now is to be more consistent with timing my meals, following the diet plan, and keeping the amounts of foods nearly the same from meal to meal and snack to snack.
I may lose weight or I might not, but the only times I have lost more than 5 lbs have been when I have followed the Lean and Free diet.
I believe that you can lose weight! :))))))
The THF plan is to eat every 2-3 hours but allows for a lot of flexibility and even number of "meals" (including snacks,) depending on what times you get up and go to bed, for example. My coach says I should really try to eat approximately the same amount for Lunch and Supper. With THF the emphasis is more on having a good balance of carbs and protein at every "meal", and their are certain protein bars he recommends for a quick snack when I have little time for a real meal. Water intake is still highly recommended.
I am supposed to get about 30 minutes of walking on most days, and I have a weight lifting routine from THF also. The reason I chose to go to them is because of their attitude about body composition. They measure me with a caliper type device every visit. They are expensive, though, and a local company so they are not very widespread
