My surgery is tomorrow (7/23) at 2:00 pm ET. About a 2 hour procedure. Nervous, but okay.
UPDATE: Jessie went yesterday to file the ex parte Domestic Violence order, which would have started her having temporary custody and temporary child support while the processes played out. The person at the Police Dept. told her that because she did not press charges when he broke in (she didn't want him to lose his job), it was highly doubtful the court would grant the order. She said Jess could go ahead and file, but it would probably be futile.
Jessie is filing the Complaint for Custody today -- then on the second and separate issue of Child Support. Life is so hard for this girl right now -- her toilet had to be repaired on a Saturday pm, and she's broke since he is not supporting the children.
He told her he had taken them off his insurance. She found out it would be $500 a month for them to be on hers, and let him know. Then he said he didn't take them off -- just said that so she wouldn't get her own car. What an a** either way! (She did get a car, although we had to help her.) Prayers for Jessie, Mari & Izzy, please!

Jessie has to file a Complaint for Custody, go through a Parenting Agreement Mediation, and a Child Support process. The girls come home from seeing him just totally bonkers. It's hard for her to get off work to do these filings, so pray she keeps her job and makes it through all this.
