Please be aware if you are taking Fosamax(Bone meds) as it has now been all over the news & i was just taken off of it & put on new bone meds & i had been on it for years & i was just put thru my I- 131 radio - active idione treatment & now my 3rd pet scan that was totally different from the last 2 was suppose to be on special foods but couldn't hardly eat anything due to chrionc nausea & pain & wasn't suppose to have nothen 12 hours prior to it.
It was a full day at hospital from 10:30 - 6 pm as they had hard time getting needle in arm then they had to use a huge one to get blood & the dye they had to put in 2 different times then laying on tiny table for along time, the the machine stopped so had to go back into room & wait. thought they were going to have to re do it another day but they finally got it up & then another hour on it, reason Dr put me thru it again is my Thyoblgen number isn't down to 5 or below its clear up in the 80's & i wasn't suppose be seen until the end of this month & i have been seeing Chrio to help with my sereve pain in neck & back & hips etc... getting worse, can't sleep hardly eat etc... my Dr just changed my Bone meds & i don't what made me record the news the other nite but i'm sure glad i did as they were talking abt women being on it for years & one lady broke one femur & other lady broke both of her femur's & i called my Chrio & told him & today when i saw him he had looked it up & said i had all the symptoms on the list , kept trying to say this is not the normal pain u have its down in my bones & hurts bad & i was told i'm doing this on purpose i don't see how i can be.I have it on tape now & called my Endocrinology & told him what i have heard & he just got my results & now i'm going to see him by myself first thing in the morning, so hopefully now he & my chrio & family Dr can try & help the pain, no one here at home knows how much pain i have been dealing with as there the ones who said i'm doing it on purpose & i really need the support right now & if i can help just one person with my story of all i have been going thru with my health for years, it will make my day as i don't want to see anyone go thru .what i have been going thru. please pray that the results will be ok, I'm trying not to me scared but with the amount of sereve pain i have been in i'm very worried.
