Not in a good way

Hi All,

I'm not in a good way today. Feeling so down in the dumps I don't think I can pick myself off the floor (well not literally) I'm listening to Jimmy Kimmel on Hulu with the hopes it will make me feel better.

Mother's day is coming and my mom has been gone since 1996, I feel very alone and that no one cares about me.

It's just a dark day for me.

I'm sorry Lilysawyer I hope you can get past the low feelings. Many of us do not have our mothers anymore including myself. When I start to feel lonely I take the time to think about the good times I had with my mother. The priceless things she taught me that has lasted all my life. Her morals and self values go on and on through me and my children. I also count my blessings and that always makes me hope. God loves you and so do we.

It is hard when we are down and feeling blue
We all know how it feels, we've been there too.
I just had a good cry...
I really don't know why..
It just came in torrents, it lasted awhile,
But, I feel better now, I think I can Smile.
It comes and it goes, and I hope that you too,
will soon feel much better, all happy and New!

Sending hugs and positive thoughts your way. Sometimes we have to force ourselves to snap out of the sad times and focus on what do have in our lives and be grateful for the beautiful things around us. It's hard to do especially when thinking of loved ones that are no longer with us. My mother left me with wonderful memories and as italiangrit stated, she lives on through me and my family. I just know this is how your Momma would have wanted it.. to live your life to your fullest and to be happy..
