I've been struggling for the past 7 years to get myself to find work. I really missed the boat when I first came down I probably would have been able to find work very easily. I was doing data entry work when I was in NY, then I moved here to N. VA. Everyone knows what the economic downfall did.
I am also a writer, I have 4 books published, but the royalty checks have been getting less and less. I was hoping I'd have finished another book, but I had writer's block for the past several months. I have a work in progress that I feel I am going to finish soon, but even if I get that published I wouldn't see anything from it for 3-4 months.
I won't know what I will do for money. I am lucky I am living with friends.
