BUT----how hard it is for me to NOT give up-------
For those who don't know---I HATE myself---my looks---etc----how can I accept things that I cannot change when they are apparent 24/7?????? I attempted suicide twice because I view me as detestful!!!
If you don't know my story and would like to---read journals or I'll be glad to share---

I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...
When I let go of the hate and resentment, after my divorce was when I really felt a peace, I never thought possible.
Whenever I feel like judging myself or someone else, I say this prayer to the Holy Spirit:
"""Take this from me and look upon it, judging it for me.
Let me not see it as a sign of sin and death, nor use it for destruction.
Teach me how NOT to make it and obstacle to Peace,
But let YOU use it for me, to facilitate it's coming!"""
