Feeling extremely down

I'm feeling very down today, just feel like such a big failure. I haven't done a lot to get work, or I wait too long to check out jobs I might want. I'm running out of money, I am a published author but my last royalties, which were last month, were not much. I'm working on a new story but I had major writer's block for a few months so I didn't get it published. Some authors are very prolific but I've been struggling with this one. I hope to get it done soon.

I have a roof over my head, so that is something. I've been living for the past 7 years with a friend and her family, it hasn't been the most ideal situation.

Today I just don't care anymore. I just wish it would just be over.

I'm sorry that you are not feeling well about your life right now. We all share your feelings from time to time no matter how well our living is. Regroup and rethink about what you want in life and work on making it happen. The only way out of a rut is to love yourself enough climb out.

Lllysawyer- I feel your pain. I have been there and felt the same way. I decided to journal my feelings and I had to keep buying new ones! You are writer, put everything down on paper. Read it, put it away. Then after a day or two, read it again and see if still applies.

Sorry your feeling down. Stick it out. Since your published that is an accomplishment. You have even have royalities!. Maybe you should try a part time job/writing if the hardest part of the situation is about money.
