I use to be in the marching band when I was in school played the flute, and then spent about 5 yrs in the church chior, and then moved on to teach Sunday school....I dibble some on the piano at home only....

I'm not, but would like to be. I would like to learn to play the guitar so that I could sing songs with my kids at home before they grow up. I really love Charlie Hall's music. I find his songs so inspirational and would like to know how to play them so me and the kids could sing them together. Then, when they are grown and gone away, I will have some great memories of singing with them whenever I played those songs.

My son is 5 and I'm told that that is a good age to get him started on learning the piano. If I can't learn the guitar, I was thinking of asking the instructor if it would be appropriate for my son and I to take the piano lessons together. I think that would be a neat thing to do with him and would be fun as we both learned how to play together.

Many years ago I sang in the choir. I sang to my children when we were riding down the road. I have no ear nor can read music. My youngest son can sing. He likes the karokee and gets standing ovations and hoots and yells sing more.
