Thank you Phoebe'sfriend for inviting me to join your group. It sounds like a good place to be. There are times when we all feel like giving up and we all know that is not what we need to do.
I am a caregiver for my husband who has Parkinson's. It is hard as I have diabetes, under control for now, arthritis and sciatica. We do a lot of walking as we lost our car almost a year ago due to the stupid economy that makes it really hard for a 65 year old woman to get a job. Well right now I couldn't do a job anyway with my husband's condition getting worse on a daily basis. I think the walking helps us both as we are then really concentrating on each other and not how hard it is go get around. Most of the time I am an up beat positive person.
I crochet and knit and bake (sugar free) goodies. I try to keep my hands as busy as possible.
I am glad to be here. I will try to pop in on a daily basis.

I took care of both my parents until they needed hospital care. I was raised to respect my elders, and since they raised me when I was young, its my duty to take care of them when they need my help. In my opinion, that has become a lost art among the new generation, where they just stick their parents in nursing homes, because they are too busy with their own lives.
Keep being hte amazing person that you are. God loves you and so do all of his angels, including me. HUGGLES & CUDDLES
