Wow...I got an invite to join this group....amazing...since I have every reason to give up!

1. I am unemployed-have been since march, my benefits are exhausted
2. I was wrongfully terminated from my job--I have been working 31 years (4 different jobs) and NEVER been let go---an employee lied on me and although I had documentation to prove diffeently...I was let go
3. I have hundreds of resumes and applications out...no luck yet
4. My car is in shop...awaiting a slow mechanic..who I had to use cause he is flexible with bill
5. My (so called) fiancee has been cheating on me for almost 3 years with 2 different men! She avoids my texts and messages
6. I have a stepmother (my only supposed family) who treats me like crap--see journal post
7. I battle depression, anxiety and panic
8. I have friends...but they have their own lives/problems

Reasons to give up??/ Yeah...I have them!

Welcome, I'm glad you joined us. Your list is long and yes you could look at it as many reasons to give up. Or you could see it as a way to cut the negative people out of your life and focus just on you. It never fails that when it rains it pours & though it may be pouring on you now we've got you covered with our umbrella. Sending many prayers for strength & peace of mind. Welcome to the group. From the list you've given, yes, you could look at it as too much to deal with and give up or you can turn on the positive and take each item on your list and work on it or eliminate it from your life. Do what is best for you regarding the people taking advantage or treating you badly. As for the job, keep forging ahead....something will come along, not in your when you want or need it but according to God's plan. When we have so many of these problems pile up it is a normal reaction to become depressed by it all. Instead hold your head high and try to see positive ways to cope instead of the negative. One day at a time. Wishing you hope and peace.
