Hello everyone I am new to this group.  I need people to talk to who understand what it is like to care for a sick dog.  I have 2 dogs  Cody my german shepherd is 13 yo and my yellow lab is 12.  My dog Cody has very bad arthitis in his knees and nerve damage in both feet.  This has progressed very quickly.  He also was recently diagnosed with a bladder infection and is peeing blood.  This is so difficult to talk about without crying.  He went to the vet for arthritis medication about 3 weeks ago but as I said it has now progressed to nerve damage in both feet. He still gets up and goes outside and I give him massages on his back to loosen up the muscles.  I know that at 13 he has lived a full life but I also know that it is coming to an end.  My family is not very supportive so I don't talk to them about it.  None of them have pets and don't understand.  Even a friend of mine doesn't get it.  And she has pets.  But doesn't want to talk about it.  I need to talk about it to people who understand
