Congratulations, Grandma!

Grandchildren warm and heal our hearts. My first was born very shortly after my separation. He is still a powerful source of pure pleasure and unconditional love, and is now accompanied by his two brothers, so this Nanny's heart nearly bursts some days.

I never imagined I'd be playing games at my age, playing dinosaurs around the kitchen island, or sliding down slippery slides, then snuggling up on the couch, two on the lap, reading a book (the little one's only about a foot long at this stage so I'll have to work on fitting three soon). Oh yeah. This is the life.

I have a beautiful little year old granddaughter who has brought her mother back into my life. She is such a joy and I can see what I missed with my children with the ex in my life. I no longer have that distraction and life is good.

This blessing that is coming into your life is coming at just the right time.

i can hardly wait. could this b just what I need at a time when I thot I lost it all? of course it is. I never lost it all. I just took out the garbage. and I get to enjoy it all! his loss again. but his choice. they have no intention of bringing him into their child's life. but happy times are ahead for all of us.

and blessing to you trisha. I am happy for you. I adore my kids and would not b able to go thru all this without them. even my stepdaughters have rallied round. (I am careful there because I know that is still their father). But grandkids add something more to the mix. And god truly knew you needed them back in your life. He's walking this road with us.

Ahhh, Congrats! I have two grand daughters and really, it's just what sets the world right, having them around.

Congratulations! I am just getting used to the idea of an 'empty nest' with my yongest leaving for university this coming fall, so it is a little early for me to think of the 'next generation'. That said, after seeing how much joy my parents and in-laws have received from being grandparents, I look forward to the day when I will also be blessed with grandchildren. The circle of life is indeed very joyful.

Ohhh I am sooooo jealous. I cant wait to be a grandma. I think my daughter and her fiancee and starting to think in those terms. My guy friend is going to be a grandpa in July! I cant think of a greater joy! Congrats on becoming a grandpa nohappy...Big Hugs...Kathy
