Divorce after Twenty years together Community Group
I want to start something for those of us that were married for a long long time. I think that we face a little different issues than those who were dating for a few years or even married for shorter period of time. Being married for so long we have older children some have grandkids dealing with teenagers and their reaction to the divorice empty nesters dating after 40...
Hi everyone,
One of our DS members here on 20+ has suffered the tragic death of her brother-in-law from a fall off the roof over the holiday weekend.
I think she could use some extra hugs, prayers, love and support at this time.
She's on my friends list if she's not on yours.

Thank you all for the hugs and prayers. My family has never experienced a unexpected death like this. Saturday was one of the worst days of my life seeing my sisters in such pain and grief. My sisters who's husband it was did better than I expected tonight. But she has not been getting hardly any sleep and is eating very little. I keep telling her to call her doctor to get something to help her sleep. We all just can't believe it happen... such a freak accident... such a waste of a good man. I can say after this my divorce worries don't seem so bad. Again thank you all.

looks like this has been a rough weekend for a few of us..I also had a tragedy on saturday not a close tie like brother-in-law but in general a familymember (I don't go into half's step; you either are or not) my nieces. cousin worked in a train yard. He was crushed between 2 cars. He was 21 yrs old married and expecting their first child.... freak accidents are the worse I think. With diseases you more or less know the outcome and are somewhat prepared. My prayers and hugs go with you and to your sister big hugs
