I want to start something for those of us that were married for a long long time. I think that we face a little different issues than those who were dating for a few years or even married for shorter period of time. Being married for so long we have older children some have grandkids dealing with teenagers and their reaction to the divorice empty nesters dating after 40...
Every once in a while one comes across a quote that seems to have come along just at the right time.
Today this one came up in an email of mine. It really struck home, especially considering the tribulations I'm going through right now. Hopefully it speaks to some of you as well:

I was already taking care of this farm without him but making it official was like icing on a cake. My life is now my own. Its up to me to sink or swim with this farm. Right now I'm treading water and hoping to make the farm support me.
