This past week, I've been a wreck. I am one of those people that have very vivd and realistic dreams. I used to get mad at my stbx for things that occurred in my dreams because they seemed so real. He knew about my dreams so when I would wake up angry or upset, he would just as , "another dream?" and I would tell him about it and that would be the end. But lately ALL my dreams have included him and his whore! When we first separated, I was terrified that I would dream about this situation and there would be no relief from the torment even in sleep, but I was lucky and I didn't have the dreams. Suddenly they have started. Even when I take short naps they come. He is in all of them, occasionally she is too, but always I wake up feeling depressed, sad and hopeless.

Right now as I sit here writing this, I have the whole day ahead of me and I see absolutely no point in it. The kids are with their dad, the baby is here but she's asleep, I have no place to go, nothing really to do. I can do housework of course, but that doesn't really fill my emotional cup very much. And this is how I feel after these dreams. This last one was a bad one so I'm feeling extra .... despair.

Does anyone else have this problem? How do you deal with it? My dreams are as real to me sometimes as reality and so all the emotions that would follow a realistic event follow me with my dreams as well. It's a curse.
