Sorry you had to deal with that. My stbx screwed just about anything cheap w/ two legs here in my own hometown ( he didn't grow up here ). I happen to get funny vibes when I am probably doing business w/ someone he'd slept with . I can kinda tell . Its a sick feeling . I kinda get paranoid about not being too friendly ,because maybe that person had been w/ my husband too... They know me but I don't know them. Finally , I don't give a rats # as who he 'did' . I know who I am. I am not a jilted wife. He did me a favor.I am ..me . He's the one who lacked character. I would have been sore tempted to leave that gathering if I were in your shoes and not subject myself to that cesspool.

Wow that sounds surreal to me too. It sounds so horrible you must feel numb. This whole process is wierd that way. Constantly having to re adjust your sense of reality is so draining. I am sorry you had to deal with that. Just be glad you are you and can hold your head high !!!!! Cause no one else can !!!!

I pondered attending for a while... but it is MY reunion as well. He controlled my world for a long time but he will NOT keep me from seeing my friends and classmates!!! I did hold my head high and stood on my character!! All you can do is laugh and shake your head sometimes!!! Apparently, he and the new wife were not having enough fun and he wasn't getting enough attention for his new bride(who is young enough to be our child) so they left early! LOL

Good for you !! I think there is something kind of (I mean totally) pathetic about a guy with a really young woman. I always think to myself......... Roses homes, I can so relate to your comment. I often second guess people in my life now, and wonder if they had some secret encounter with my ex, because you just never know! And that sick feeling is like a little intuitive radar. But, you're right, we've got to just move on and realize it's past and mot our problem anymore.

It just proves, a spouse's nasty hidden deeds eventually are revealed with time. No matter how hard one tries to hide the crap, the smelly mess has a distinctive offensive unpleasant odor. EWWW!! For certain, you do not need any more additional proof! Your ex is going to disappoint anyone!
